Biography Nakata, Kazuo (? - ?)

Around 1924 Nakata Kazuo was making self-carved and self-printed ex-libris woodblock prints of his own design in Osaka. In 1930 he published a book on bookplates, and in 1931 he participated in the first Nihon Hanga Kyokai exhibition. In the 30s he contibuted many prints to a group of Hanga magazines, among which Han Geijutsu and Shiro to kuro. He is supposed to have died around 1945.
