Biography Kasumi, Bunshô 春見 文勝 (1905 - 1998)

Bunshô Kasumi closely followed in the footsteps of two great predecessors, Nantenbô and Deiryû, when in 1943 he became abbot of Kaisei-ji (temple), where they had resided before him. At the end of his long life, in 1990, he became the 29th chief abbot of the Myôshin sect at Myôshin-ji (temple), again the same temple of both Nantenbô and Deiryû.
