Condition:Very good overall condition. The watercolour is mounted in a fairly new, expensive frame (dark brown wood), which suits it very well.

Literature:Onchi Kôshirô can be found back in every book about 20th century Japanese art.
The text in Japanese reads: 愛情は人間のもちうる最大の悪行であるーということ (Aijô ha ningen no mochi uru saidai no akugyô de aru - to iu koto), which roughly translates as "Affection... is the worst thing a human being may embrace."
