Munakata, Shikô (1903 - 1975)

Yamagoe (山越の冊) - Over the Mountain, from the set Uto hanga-kan (善知鳥版画巻) Print Volume of the Horn-billed Puffin, with an attached seal from the Shiko Munakata Authentification Committee. On the website of the British Museum is explained why the cormorant has been changed from a cormorant into a “horn-billed puffin”. Self-printed in 1938 (according to BM). Signed in pencil with red artist’s seal.
