Ono, Tadashige (1909 - 1990)

Tori (とり) - Birds
Paper size: 48 x 36 cm. Self-printed in 1982, number 9 from an edition of 50. The first edition (also of 50 copies) was printed in 1960. In my Archive of sold items you can see 1/50 of that 1960 edition. In the same year there was an edition of 100 (also shown in my Archive of sold items). Attached to a piece of washi, which has all the print details (see "detail").
Without any doubt one of Ono Tadashige's best-known designs, shown in various reference works.
