Ono, Tadashige (1909 - 1990)

Tori no machi (とりの街) - City bird.
Paper size: 45.5 x 60 cm. Number 7/10, self-printed in 1959. Print details on the usual piece of washi. On the left two lines: 東京近代美術館蔵 (“a copy in the National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo”, and: 国際版画ビエンナーレ出品 (“exhibited at the Second International Biennale Exhibition of Prints in Tokyo (1960)”. Very rare, as are all large-sized prints by Ono Tadashige. Stocknumber 21.085. Print details on a piece of washi, as always.
