Hongō motomachi kōen (本郷元町公園 ) - Hongo Motomachi Park
Paper size: 19.1 x 25.9 cm. Number 3 from an edition of 50, published by Nakajima Jūtarō in August 1931, as part of the series One Hundred Views of New Tokyo - Shin Tokyo hyakkei. With the original folder (detail 1) showing the title slip of the series plus a red stamp giving the title of the print, plus artist's name. On the print the artist's name in red bottom left. Shin Tokyo hyakkei is undoubtedly the best pre-war series of Sōsaku Hanga, with contributions by the ten leading artists of the period.

Fine impression, colours and condition; the folder shows foxing and browning, but the print itself is completely unaffected. RARE
