Kyōsai, Kawanabe (1831 - 1889)

Paper size: 25.8 x 38 cm. A print with an interesting history: originally a design by Kyōsai, this design was made into a print in different versions, the main being one with white stripes of rain on the black background and black stripes of rain on the bird. This is the version without rain. Judging from the paper this print dates from ca. 1950.
