Ishii, Tsuruzō (1887 - 1973)

Originally cut and self-printed by Ishii Tsuruzō ("Tur") in 1919, this design was recarved by Sekino Jun'ichirō for the frontispiece of the second portfolio of the First Thursday Collection (1946). The block appears to have been re-used for the impression offered here.
