Biography Matsumura, Matsujirô (? - ?)

According to Helen Merritt, Matsumura Matsujirô started his career in 1924, when he contributed to Shi to Hanga, a hanga periodical. In 1928 he exhibited with the Nihon Sôsaku-Hanga Kyôkai and he was in the middle of Sôsaku Hanga activities in the late 1920s and 1930s. It is known that he lived in Manchuria in 1939 and that he was interned in Siberia. The rest of his life is unknown.
