Biography Kitagawa Kazuo (? - ?)

Apart from the fact that Kitagawa Kazuo (北川 一雄) was a pupil of Kaburagi Kiyokata, not much is known about him. In 1919 he made four (Helen Merritt) or only one (The New Wave) woodblock landscape print(s) for Watanabe Shôzaburô. Why he discontinued working for him we do not know; neither do we know anything about the rest of his career. Understandably his work is very rare.
