Biography Futaba, Sekka 二葉 石華 (1867 - ?)

Futaba Sekka was born in 1867 in Gifu and went on to live and paint in Tokyo. He was a student of Okumura Sekiran (1834-1895) and Kono Bairei (1844-1895). He is noted as being a painter of animals and tigers in particular.
