Condition:Blue-green striped silk mounting, silver&grey ichimonji, urushi (lacquer) rollers, one of which is damaged. Some loss of the gofun used to paint the blossoms overhead. Original signed and inscribed box.

According to this source, Shôkin Hayami was the (female) pupil of Uemura Shôen (上村 松園), 1875-1949, who in her turn was one of Takeuchi Seihô's pupils
