Thin superficial wrinkles throughout the painting.

Literature:Matsumura Goshun was the founder of the Shijô school. His work is found in all the works about 19th century painting. The haiku reads and translates as follows:
uzumibi ya
kanate urami no
yoi ta ete

my jealousy, like
an ash-covered charcoal fire
has survived the night
