Literature: | Ikai Shôkoku (1881-1939) was a student of Taniguchi Kôkyô, who graduated from the Kyôto Municipal School of Fine Arts and Crafts in 1900. He became a teacher himself and was an important painter in his own right (see Roberts, op. cit. p. 51). |
