Kōgyo, Tsukioka (1869 - 1927)

Djji
Published by Matsuki Heikichi (Daikokuya) in April 1923

The series Ngaku hyakuban consists of 120 sheets, published in sets of three per envelope between the period 1922-1926. Without any doubt it forms one of the highlights of woodblock printing. All possible techniques were used successfully and effectively, and though the edition must have been considerable no bad impressions are known.

Euro SOLD

Very good impression, colours and condition.
Part of a diptych, but the two sheets do not form one image, and are usually sold separately.
