Gekko, Ogata (1859 - 1920)

Mystery ôban diptych. The combination of the three elements: tiger hunt, domestic scene and beauty on bridge hasn't rung a bell so far.
Printed in 1889 (Meiji 22), so before Gekko had become really famous.

Fine impression and colours, very good condition: a few unconspicuous wormholes left, but loose, unbacked sheets, with lacquer applied.
